Only 14 oz and beautiful too, the carbon shaft Zephyr is one light paddle that sets itself apart. The cedar core blade is light , yet very tough, fully Fiberglass reinforced with Carbon fiber reinforcement beams (“Swooshes”) to help stiffen the thin, ultra light blade. This semi teardrop shaped blade has proven itself as a canoe marathon paddle and has quite a following with outrigger paddlers as well.
